I love that commercial.
Wow, I've never seen that before.. that's amazing. :D The underwater scenes especially.
I remember when that commercial came out, my brother was a small child and he was SO excited about it because at first he thought it was real. I let him know gently that it was just an idea that they were working on because I didn't want him to be too disappointed when he found out it wasn't real.

I am sure someday there will be something close to it (if for nothing else than gaming!)...they are already working on creating contact lenses that contain circuitry and tiny LEDs to create displays that seem to float in your field of vision.
As technology that can interact with your brain advances, however, I am sure we will see corresponding advances in LD-related tech. Until then I'll keep trudging along trying to hone my skills.
I forgot about that commercial! One of my faves :)
