TerraGen for dreams!
hi, this thread explains the program TerraGen and how you can use it to your advantage in lucid dreaming.
first of all, let me explain what terragen is. terragen is a downloadable program that designs landscapes. there are infinite possibilities with what you could do with it, creating your dream island, your own little valley filled with good stuff, whatever you want. you can also change the camera angle to show the sun just coming over the horizon in space. here is a landscape that i've already created. the tutorial i found to make it on terragen is here:http://www.mcdemarco.net/terragen/planet_tutorial

yeah, it's pretty cool. also, google do a similar thing called... sketchup! that's the one. its pretty cool, it can do buildings and stuff but its pretty expensive.

This seems legit..I'm a type of dreamer who likes to experiment with places so I think this will aid my interests in whichever form

Yeah that is pretty cool I will download it when I get home.
I've experimented with Blender (3D modeling program) before, and although I suck at it, it was interesting to see the kind of effect it had on my waking (and dreaming) perception. Working with the 3D shapes and forcing myself to pay attention to how the shapes fit spatially into the scene made me more aware of my own environments.

Oh man, I love Terragen. You can also make animations, so those who are willing to spend some time figuring it out should look up tutorials, I used to make ones that looked you like you flying around

Thanks for the idea. I've never heard of this program before, I just downloaded it and it's awesome. SketchUp has a free version, too though but the premium is expensive, like +$400.
