Nice, but I do believe this is old news.
never seen this but does feel old.
Yeah, it's a pretty basic presentation. What about Beth's stupid opening comment, "realizing that you're dreaming may not sound all that special but becoming aware that you're dreaming can allow you to be the master of your own dreams". What the hell is the difference between realizing that you're dreaming and becoming aware that you're dreaming? Duh. They're exactly the same thing.
Very amateur item, but thanks for pointing it out, niddiboy. There's quite a few interesting vids on youtube about LDing
what was with the club-like music at 1:40? it makes me wanna have a rave:banana:
I like how being in a lucid dream just means all colors are inverted... I guess it wouldn't be interesting to the people watching if everything just seemed very realistic, as it actually is haha
Totally going to add going to a rave to my list of things to do :P
the news makes lucid dreaming seem dull, for all the stuff I've seen its a guy in a bed saying "I will be aware that im dreaming" does that appear interesting at all? I really think someone needs to make a clip of a person who has power in a dream, it would need to be professional to a degree such as in a kid blowing something up by snapping his fingers, taking off from the street and flying fast threough the city, making hot women appear next to him and playing god. whatever it is it needs to be appealing to the average person not a guy laying down in bed with a machine strapped on his head. the matrix is a good example but something needs to be make for lucid dreaming. how many of you think that the news makes lucid dreaming appealing?
In other words tell them to watch the Matrix or Vanilla Sky?Quote:

And he barely had any control at all.
And freezing someone and then using the computer to put the person into a lucid dream, which turned into a lucid nightmare, because of a computer glitch, and a tech support guy entering his dream as a real person, not a DC, to ask him whether he wants to wake up or continue dreaming? Right. But it's a movie after all, not an introduction to LD'ing.
Yeah I saw this a while ago. The search bar is your friend.
The guys that explained it were mingin and that wouldn't have gotten me interested in LDs :/
the matrix is a great example but isnt based on lucid dreaming, maybe a clip thats a minute long of a kid whos demonstrating god like powers and cool things like running 40mph sideways on a skyscaper while glass breaks beneath his feet and than jumping off and flying agian. anything that will grap someone's interest and make them say "I want to do that"Quote:

We should make a lucid dreaming commercial. 3-D effects and all. I think the one you mentioned with the women would sell best! XD
Speaking of commercials, we have awareness commercials about eating and exercise and drugs (especially for kids), but what about sleep? I've never seeen a commercial advocate getting a steady night's sleep (except for sleep aids). We'd have to start there before even discussing dream recall in a commercial!
Yeah, I saw this at least a year ago.
yeah i knew it was old , but i just came across it again and thought it would be funny to post... and they really do make it seem dull, but i suppose people not aquainted with Lucid Dreaming might just want to research about the subject more because they have seen a similar news cast...
and yeah.. i want to rave xD
I thought it was funny that she acted like sh WILDed when she just had some HI. She clearly has no idea how to WILD, sitting up and talking while you're doing it doesn't sound like a good technique. She was like, "It was a movie that was very vivid and now I feel relaxed"... This is hardly news, God Fox has nothing better to do. Lotsa people have HI naturally before falling asleep and get hypnic jerks and whatnot. Anyways, just filler material really. The kind of the thing they would advertise saying "HAve you ever wanted to control your dreams? at 10:00!" and then put it at the very very end.
