Pain killers/headache medicine and lucid dreaming

Do these sorts of things affect your chances of lucid dreaming? Im sick and have been taking a whole heap of em so i'd like to know if im loosing sleep for nothing or not. Cheers.

I'm not sure what you mean by Pain killers.
Most generally medications for sickness seem to hamper dream recall but do help you sleep.
So while you may be loosing some dream recall you are probably getting the rest you need to get well.

Well, you're right about it screwing with dream recall. Mine wasn't so good this morning. Wont take nothing tonight and see how it goes.

Well, if you take it, most medicine alters your sleep in some way. Maybe for better maybe for worse. But based on previous experience, I tend to feel quite drowny after taking painkillers (I don't even like to take them, I can handle pain), and it completely supresses any chance of recalling my dreams.

But they might help in the way of ending headaches, possibly having a good outcome for LDing.

Saying quantum physics explains cognitive processes is just like saying geology explains jurisprudence.

Yeah, its not so much for pain, more for me being able to go to sleep. But i don't think its helping me dream any more.

Well, I've personally heard one person say ibuprofen did the trick but this is a rather atypical reaction.

Well i didn't take nothing and still couldn't remember a thing. Im guessing its just me being sick.

By the way, i don't think the dust from your garden helps you either
