Wow that sounds awesome.
I have a lot. The one that comes to mind right now is a grassy field so beautiful it seemed unreal. Hard to describe it but the colors were perfect, and everything was sharp.
Umm another one was this forest that seemed to glow with sunlight. There was a creek running through it.
Hmm and also this one time I looked at the sky and there were these huge comets and asteriods floating around. It was kind of eerie.
I glimpsed a Buddha realm once. My consciousness was drifting from dream to dream, almost waking, then falling back, becoming lucid then wandering back into the dreams, and in the midst of this wandering a view opened up on this place saturated with prismatic light. I saw only a tiny part of it, some water with lily-pads, grasses, and flowers, all shining with light in more colors than my imagination could ever produce, and there was animal life flitting about, but the creatures were so bright and active I couldn't discern any form in their fluttering. Everything was suffused with light and water and life--and peace. Even when I woke, I couldn't really be excited about the experience, because I still had this sense of total peace.
it wasnt a lucid dream but it was very clear...
i was climbing to the tallest peak of this mountain... and when i reached the top i saw the most beautiful lake... with white mountains surrounding it....
I turned down a street and then suddenly it got slightly darker and this street had loads of flowering trees down one side. It was amazing. I cant even describe the painting-like feel to it.
There was this dream I had when I was about 10. It was probably the first "spiritual" dream I've ever had. I was on this foggy, dark, and mysterious steel platform that rose above the see. Biker's surrounded this place... Finally, after walking around, we found two great doors, which stood about 30 feet high. We opened them and walked through...
It was an endless prairie, with rolling hills covered with flowers up to our knees, beautiful yellow-orange sunlight, a nice warm breeze, butterflies, birds chirping...
Another time, while not exactly "beautiful", it struck my heart with awe... I was a character in this human chess board, being moved by beams of white light that shone down upon us from a castle/moutain/structure that stretched up into the clouds, made of bricks.. There was a walkway up to it... Dark, stormy clouds with lightning and crashing waves of an ocean nearby.
I remember looking up at that structure, looking around, the lights strolling back and forth, searching, hunting, the lightning, everything. It was remarkable. Like a scene from The Matrix Revolutions. This concious gaze lasted about 10 seconds...
I was on a house in the middle of nowhere. absolutely beautiful. there was grass and hills only and everything seemed to be vibrating with color.
ugh..i cant think of anything else..that sounds cool though. blowing up a sun *adds to my list*
I have a lot (non-lucid).
One that stands out is one at the sea. I was on a cliff and looked down to view a gorgeous sea and a cozy cottage next to it. The clear water would slash upon the rocks with pure perfection! Winds with that ocean breeze fragrance blew against my face. It was absolutely amazing! What's scary is that recently I found an art piece that is an exact replica of my dream!!! I believe it's called Seaside Hideaway by Thomas Kinkade.
Do you think you might have seen it before but not noticed?Quote:

I remembered another one going through my journal today. It's probably the best next to the grassy field.
The setting was several mountains with paths between them and stone ruins. There was a waterfall and a crystal clear lake. The entire area was huge, I explored it all and am still amazed by the clarity now that I remember it.
I was staring at my hands for about as long as I possibly could (I wanted to see what would happen). And the texture on my hands and arms changed to fluttering red and yellow butterflies. My vision was being strethed and twisted, really cool.
This may sound weird, but I was just meditating and I saw the most beautiful forest at night. There was a lake in the middle with trees all around. The moonlight and stars were amazing. Breathtaking, and I wasnt even asleep!
Wow I'd love to have that kind of imagination. :dreaming:
I just cant wait to see how great it all looks in an LD!Quote:

This is a sight:
I saw the grassy earth from a distance and all the houses and the hills.
i also saw real like clouds that had mass and color and the bright blue sky.
this is not a sight
I felt real wind that touched against me
I had one dream as of late where I was traveling through a Buddhist temple being questioned by monks. There was a lot of tapestry and oriental art.
I was standing in a valley with perfect fields growing on the slopes, and I was on a path that led to a big white tree. The landscape was so beautiful it was surreal.
Notice that most of these things are surreal, natural images and (not ALWAYS) without other dream characters interfering.
I wonder if that says anything about dreams, or perhaps is what makes some of these things so beautiful (we spend almost all our lives talking, commuting and doing business with other people. Being alone can be very uplifting).
My most beautiful is probably the one where I was standing next to a lake with ripples on it - its a sunny autumn day and the colours are dazzling.
Green grass, golden and red leaves on trees.
Theres a grape vine growing to the left of me, under which 3 puppies are playing.
I tried flying, but the dream was way too vivid and realistic...
I had this amazing LD where I was slowly flying up over a huge turqoise sea with large rolling waves that were more playful than threatening. An endless beach with beautifully realistic flowers and palms sprawled out across the left side of my dreamscape. I floated down until the tips of my toes were just skimming the top of the water and I could actually feel the cool sea mist on my body and feel the wind blowing through my hair.

wow, reading this made me think about being really really really high up, and looking down at the earth and seeing the pearly white clouds with deep blue oceans up against the stars and space.... relaxing..... peaceful :)
The best view I have ever seen was after I became lucid... I jumped of my deck and started flying at a fast speed, and I happened to look up at the sky. It was nighttime and the moon was out. It was about 6 times larger than it normally was. The sky was crimson red in the east, fading from a normal red to an orange to the west. The clouds were in crossing patterns and were dark colored but at the same time white (it's hard to explain). While I was looking at it, I felt extremely calm and remember saying something like "Thats beautiful." I started flying toward it, and from that point my dream faded.
i had one of a pie once.......... o ok the sun setting with clouds in the cool colors of fall at the beach light dancing on the water it was cool but hard to remember for it was a while a go that i had it
there were few a couple of sights.
First one happened a while back. I was flying around a dream town, having remarkable memory of location. For some reason, there were no normal houses in the city.
Every block was made up of cool things like temples, shrines, palaces, ruins and waterfalls.
And I knew it all- which temple belongs to what god, knew history behind the ruins and so on...
After a while I descended into a town dungeon which looked surreal..
Second one was bizzare blend of my current town with my hometown.
I flied to a hill, and saw a beautiful valley below me. Rising sun shined upon beautiful trees, fountains, statues and golden palace. Using my lucidity, I looked at it many times and scenery changed every time :D
Well that was 2 weeks ago, I was in a lucid dream, and when I started spinning around to increase my lucidity, there was some kind of rainbow with all the colors of the world around me and that was really beautiful to see
A quiet, tranquil neighborhood- bathed in golden sunlight . . . a gold shine on my friends' faces.
A shadowy, ice blue nighttime rich neighborhood. Darkness all around, but the houses and I are all in shiny ice blue light.
An azure blue and pink-golden tinged sky.
One night as I was falling asleep I asked my dreamguide to visit me. That night I had a fairly long vivid lucid dream and halfway through this guy turns up and tells me we have to go to someones house and he is going to take me there.
Ive got my mind set on doing something else so I just carry on without following this guy.
The DC follows me through a forest and as I get to the end of the path there is nothing but a blinding white light. The light shone through all the trees but kinda looked like a wall of pure light.
The DC stopped in front of it, I walked into the light and ended up in a house. (So maybe the DC had led me there after all).
Anyway it was so vivid that I drew a picture of it.
Its from my POV as I approach the light, the figure is the DC.

Hey, I read this thread a couple of nights ago, and remembered it in my LD.. and as soon as I did, the dream began to get more vivid and colorful, and all these flowering trees started appearing.. whoo! :D
Thanks, thread!
Munfordville.
Never actually been there, but in this one LD I was trying to get there, and when I finally did, was the most fucking beautiful place I had ever seen, asleep or awake. A fucking city in Kentucky.....go figure.
If I ever find a picture that resembles it, I'll edit this post and add it.
edit: This is fucking close enough, though it was INFINITELY more gorgeous in my LD (keeping in mind there is NO place even REMOTELY close to Kentucky that looks like this...just my brain idolizing the city of lust):

I think my most beautiful experience in and LD.... well wasn't in an LD, but in a meditation kind of experience for me. I saw a very mystical pond in the middle of a forest, straight out of a fairly tale. I saw the sunlight in the mist off the water and reflecting like diamonds around the area. The area was so lush and green. The most beautiful I have experienced and I too was not asleep. My words cannot even begin to describe it!Quote:

In and LD... I would have to say the most beautiful was when I was flying. I happen to live on the California Coast and this area is amazing. I just remember flying looking down on the cliffs and the waves crashing against them... it was all so clear and colorful! Good times! hehe
I wanted to revive this thread, because I was hoping more people would attempt to draw, or find pictures that represented their most beautiful/vivid LD views. I just find it so interesting.
Danke schön!!!
I would do fast sketches of my more beautiful dreams, but i have the curse of noscanneritis..im working on it though ._.
What's that?Quote:

Well as I put in my dream journal
"I didn't remeber the view that much except with a mountain that has a patch of trees on it. But I do remember it was like taking 100 amazing sites from all over the world with different climates and everything and combining them onto one scene with a mountain."
