      Convinced I'm sleepwalking when lucid

Lately, it seems that often when I have a lucid dream I become convinced that I'm acting out the dream in reality in my sleep.

This is usually followed by a false awakening in which I find out that I did something embarrassing whilst lucid (e.g. sleep-walked nude around the house whilst people were there, or worse).

Anyone else experience this? I never actually sleep-walk in reality; I only dream that I did.

I've never had this. On the other hand, I haven't had many lucids either

Perhaps you can try to do something that defies the laws of physics, like fly, to ensure yourself that your body is indeed still in bed.
Mindfulness is the aware, balanced acceptance of the present experience.
It isn't more complicated that that.
It is opening to or recieving the present moment, pleasant or unpleasant, just as it is,
without either clinging to it or rejecting it.

I've thought something similar- that I'm sleep-talking whenever I say something in a lucid dream (which, for all I know, may be a reality). It prohibits me from doing/saying anything, uh, risque', which really sucks because that's much of the fun of a lucid dream.

I once DID sleep talk in a lucid dream. My brother heard me. Luckily it came out all funny so he couldn't really understand what I was saying.

I'm pretty sure you can't sleepwalk while dreaming because dreams occur in REM sleep. And I'm pretty sure you don't sleepwalk in REM sleep.

I may be wrong, however. I've been wrong before.

I probably should do a reality check on "waking" from the lucid part. I have a feeling I will remember next time.
