Flying is the thing I always seem to wind up doing in LDs. That as it is, I've become a pretty proficient flyer over the course of about 7 LDs and 6 months. The main problem is that I need LDs. |

Every lucid dream I've had, except one, I have flown in. |

I never have problems unless I'm trying to fly too high. Never been successful flying to anywhere above earth's atmosphere. Not Yet, anyways! |
Around a 6 - I can always fly once I am lucid, but oddly enough I frequently do not become lucid until I am flying and then I realize I'm dreaming - then I usually increase speed, etc. |
whenever i fly its ALWAYS lucid!!!! |

Flying isn't hard at all for me. I just go up and about. Although I don't often fly in my dreams anymore because I'm bored of it. |
Love is lucid.
if i tried to fly aircrash investigation would be on the scene quick smart |
I often have trouble flying in non-lucid dreams, or fly in very, very strange ways, but in lucid dreams, I am a pro. Since it's probably the number 1 thing I look forward to in dreams, nothing holds me back, except for losing lucidity and waking up |
About a 6.5 I have flown in a variety of ways and by far the best is where I look at the spot I want to fly to, and then imagine myself being 'slingshotted' there, with the feel that my feet are the propulsion and that the angle my body is facing creates the steering. |

I don't understand how you can fly in a dream without becoming lucid. I know I don't fly in real life, so when I fly, I'm dreaming. If you're flying, wouldn't that fact in itself make you lucid? You wouldn't even need a reality check in that case. |
Love is lucid.
...no. What's to understand? It fails to make me lucid the same way that other ridiculous things in dreams may not make you lucid, like talking to the dead, being good friends with people you've never met, being other people instead of yourself, being different animals, going on ridiculous quests, finding strange places familiar even though they aren't real... I'm sure if I made flying a dream sign and did a reality check every time I thought if it, I'd become lucid. But it has never occurred to me, while flying in a dream, that I am dreaming. In fact, I've never had a flying dream where I even questioned my state of reality. I became lucid once while flying, but not because I was zooming around in midair, it was because I was being shot at with an AR-15 and it didn't hurt. |
Level 6, I can fly whenever, vividly, just never tried any tricks. |
