music effects dreams...

Over the years, I've heard many rumors about this and how amazing it can be, but i kept trying over and over and it never worked, but about a month ago I started constantly listening music that was EXTREMELY meaningful to me. I started having very lucid dreams, and just last night i was able to consciously think, and make decisions in my dreams, I was consciously adding things into my dreams to match the song I was listening to (swing life away by rise against.). the morning after, when i would wake up I could remember sleeping, it was almost like i was awake to enjoy my sleep:? and I know lyrics to songs I have only listened to while sleeping.
here are some things that you can do to help yourself get these effects.

-Find songs that MEAN something to you, dont pick screamo because it gets you "pumped" or because its cool, listen to the lyrics and make sure it has some significance to your life. I listened to a lot of linkin park, rise against, and metallica while doing this (linkin park related A LOT to the way my life is going, and the emotions i have about someone, rise against just has tons of meaning and each song relates to a different aspect of my life, and metallica expressed my anger towards things, and any sense of anything "fucked up")

-make a playlist and listen to these songs for about a month, half way through that month start playing them when you sleep and DO NOT STOP once that month is over. make sure to make sense of the lyrics, read them as the song plays, put meaning into them ans over-examine them whenever possible...

-in the beginning you may not get too much, but the music will effect your mood the next day (after listening to some harder metallica songs I got into a fight at school and broke 3 of the kids fingers, his nose, and his cheek bone, listening to linkin park the day after i was emotional and told the girl i love that i loved her (never thought i would do it either)

keep listening to the music when you sleep, and make sure to listen to all that music early the next day, that is when i remember most of the things i dream, that is if i dont wake up thinking i am in the dream.

some examples of my dreams relating to the songs...

shoot to thrill-ac/dc--i dreampt of a school shooting, scared the shit out of me, i grabbed a metal pipe in my room and searched my house when i woke up.

swing life away-rise against--driving in my car with two of my x-girlfriends, i was able to make up what was going on in my dream as it was happening, amazing experience, i thought it was real afterwards so i called one of my ex's and asked if she wanted to hang out again

my december-linkin park--dreampt i was snowed in in my garage in wisconsin with the girl im into, and we basically just spent the day together (too cheesy for my to say, lmao)

theres tons more, i just figured i wrote more than enough...

Well I didn't read any of your post because I am tired. I have had an experiance with music in my dreams, I left the radio on during the night, and a radio show for the Maltese Falcon was on, and I dreamed up about a quater of the movie.

EDIT- I read some of it, the way you let music influence you, especially in regards to the fight is a tad bit frightening.
