      About HI's

      Hello,

The past 4 nights I've been about to get into SP in about 4-10 min, my only problem is, even though i cant move, i never get anything resembling HI's. Maybe it because HIs arnt very clear to me. What is a high? Should i be looking through my eye at the back of my eyelids? Should they be in my head? And if they are on the back of my eyelids, how vivid should they be, what i see on my eyelids is more of an abstract painting, someone just throwing colors on the wall.
      Any help is appreciated.

      Thank,
      Eli

HIs are more of a mental image, they are not as vivid as a real image. But, the closer you are to falling asleep, the more vivid they will get, and they will then look like they are actually there. If you don't see HIs, try visualising somethingc (like what you want to dream), that can help you enter a WILD.

What would not suprise me, is if you did something similar to me, where I have to relax myself completely until I notice them.

I normally get too wrapped up in trying to keep my body still and concentrating on individual parts of my body and then suddenly I'll realise that I've been HI'ing for several minutes.

Most of the time, I get flowing scenes, not fast jittery images. I'll regularly see a familar town/building from an aerial view, with my view panning around it.

Just don't try and look into your eyelid for the image.

Have you ever had a really intense daydream?
Where you might be staring blankly at the ground, but your mind will be so consumed with thinking of something else that you can see a completely different image in your head... and what you are staring at in reality wont become apparent until you start to concentrate on what you're looking at.

A HI is exactly like that. Don't try so hard to see them that's all
      Good luck!
      Jim

http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=56984 This might help a bit. I had the same sort of question. I see it with my eyes shut, they are almost like millisecond-long dreams that occur while you are still awake, but not focusing on anything in particular, if that makes sense.
