does kind of suck but its your dream you can do what ever you want you just have to believe it. :)
I have a similar problem, only I don't live in the middle of nowhere. Actually, I don't know if I can really call it a problem because I kind of like it. Since most of my LDs begin in my house, I always try to go outside to explore. So, the first thing I see when I go outside is my street. Now, whenever I look at my street, I feel sort of dreamy. It's nice, but I would like to also start LDing elsewhere.
Hi, I know how bad it sucks. I live on the edge of nowhere, so I know how borring your dreams must be. Once, when I wanted to leave my on my house in a dream, so I just punched the wall down. Or, and this is somthing that I would like to next time I LD, play it like an "escape" game, like a "Point 'N Click" game, but real dream life! Like, make it a geme! Have fun! If you don't know what an escape game is, this one is appriote for this website.

If you need help, there are a few walk-thrus in the comments, and I'm sure you can find some sorta Houdini to get you outta your dream house. Good luck!
any teleportation methods you guys use?
Wilderness and country scenery are always pretty amazing in my dreams. So I wouldn't mind this so much.
But yeah, maybe a lot of good action packed, or scary movies may help.
I don't really leave in the middle of nowhere, but one thing I do is keep a collection of photos of interesting locations on Flickr and sometimes review them before going to sleep, to try and inspire my mind with places to visit while dreaming.
Many of my dreams take place at my childhood homes (which were in rural areas), but I find that I have enough of a store of images in my mind of other places (visited and imagined) that I am not stuck in any one place.
As for teleportation methods, in the most recent lucid I had I was able to generate new scenery and environments simply by thinking about what I wanted to see or where I wanted to be, turning around and then seeing it in front of me. It sounds hard but when you have a certain level of lucidity it is effortless.
I have the same problem, if I have a DILD, it will usually be in a dream scene, sometimes other places, but if I have a WILD, it is always like an OBE, and I am in my house, which is dark, and so far I haven't been able to get out of it, I have tried spinning, didn't work, I was still in my house, tried going though doors, couldn't, though I could put my hands in them, and finally to open the doors, at which point I have either woke up or went into a non-lucid dream, it does get frustrating when you've had 15 WILD's and every one all you can do is fly around or walk around inside your dark house.
I have in a DILD realized I was dreaming when in the dream I was inside a empty building, I visualized a door and it was there, I then visualized bright light shining through the cracks in the door, then I opened the door and went through and ended up in a desert. It was awesome, I believe going through a door in a WILD will do the same if I can ever remain lucid for long enough.
