sleeping very tired, LD without visuals

I didnt sleep much the last few days, than I went to sleep KNOWING im gonna have a ld cos my body was super tired but my mind was very much awake.. so i just lay down and waited for the ld to come.. i guessed that cos i was so wasted from not sleeping id go straight to REM (dont know if that happend)
now wat happend was- i had a LD but with no visuals.. im like wtf?? i felt and heard everything, pluse i saw very vage picture of whats going on... try to spin teleport but nothing happens cos i dont have dream eyes at all..
does this have to do with me not trying WBTB and just jumped to a ld with lower brain waves and so i was not really having a ld but more being conscious while unconscious?
