bananas are literally my miracle food! i found out that there is something in bananas (can't remember what it is called) that helps like, i guess, dream vividness. and does chocolate really help...and peantbutter?
Dark chocolate. When I have it, I eat it during WBTB. It motivates me to stay awake and focus on technique, for I know technique is more reliable than the food itself.
dark chocolate is okay but i not crazy about it
i take a multivitamin. have found that it pretty much doubles my % of successful WILDs
nutmeg is naturally halucinagenic but you have to eat a lot! but it has helped me in the past to have more vivid dreams if i eat a bunch in my apple sauce or pie(it could be the cinnamon too though or even the apples i will have to expiriment now...).ginger calms me before i sleep so i usually have more peaceful dreams the same with garlic.potent chocolate(such as dark) is proven ,if eaten right before you falll asleep ,to induce nightmares.
chocolate+peanut butter gives me vivid dreams
Probably placebo, but peanut butter worked wonders for me for a while. Dark chocolate and bananas didn't seem to do anything, and when combined with peanut butter never caused increased vividness or lucidity.
hm.
Well i would not recommend coffee. or any product like that.
Well not if u r tryin to go to sleep. =)
Than again, that might work for some ppl but that is not the right way to achieve LDs(at least not for me :))
What i could recommend is that u eat at least 3-4 hours before u go to sleep. And dont OVER eat, with some junk food, or something like that. Eat not till u r full, but until u r not hungry anymore. Internet is probably overfloaded with this kind of advices seek some out =)
Trust me there are some good results with an empty stomach =)
and from the list i would not reccomend cheese also =)
bananas for me
I've only been experimenting with energy drinks for a couple months but the results are clear. With their super-high caffeine content they have given me really vivid and long lucids on several occasions when I drank them just before bed. And the first time was by accident; I had no preconceptions.
I haven't really noticed much correlation between the food I eat, and how vivid my recall is.
For me it mostly depends on how focused I am on getting Lucid. When I stop thinking about dreaming for a few days, I start to lose that sharp clear recall.
But once I get really motivated again, I start to wake up with such a clear memory of my dreams, that I can see them almost as if I was still there.
Wouldn't drinking an energy drink keep you awake?
It would depend on the individual. I can still sleep after consuming large amounts of caffeine. A while back one of my co-workers brought Brawndo into work. I drank 2 and a half cans before I started feeling sick. When I got home I went straight to sleep because I didn't feel well and woke the next day from a very vivid lucid still feeling extremely jittery from the caffeine.
Caffeine sometimes works well for me as well. The first couple of times was by accident. I just drunk a not of caffeine at work to help keep me awake, and then I had very vivid OBE type experiences the night after consuming a large amount of caffeine. This happened a couple of times, I tried to find out the reason why and consuming a lot of caffeine was the only thing I could think of, I then tried Green tea pills which containe 50mg of caffeine with WBTB and it worked, I haven't experimented with caffeine much lattely though.
Before my first successful WILD, I was starving during the WBTB and the closest thing to me was some Reese's stuff from Easter. So I ate that and was successful. Then I did it two of the next three nights and WILDed those times. I didn't know it is actually supposed to help.
multivitamins FTW. B3 does wonders for me
do you think ice cream would give you a vivid dream
cuzz i rember my mom always saying "dont eat ice cream before bed you will get nightmares" and she said the same about chocolate
I ticked "other": if you eat a spicy curry dish, hopefully you will be awoken in the middle of the night with bowel issues. Then you can practise autosuggestion, and hopefully the vividness of your dreams will improve. :?
