HIIIIIIii New to the site, want to share an idea!

Ive always been facinated with dreams. I love this forum because its a great place where you can find many people to help. I used to have a dream log where I would write down my dreams but I lost it so I was gonna make a dream blog online.

Cutting to the chase.

I see alot of people have dream journals and they are scattered all over the place so I made a place where we can all just share our dreams. Im not trying to take over this site. We can store the dreams there so we have a giant bank of dreams that anybody can access at any time. If you arent interested then thanks anyways. Im really serious about this and I only made it with the intent of helping myself as well as other dreamers. Looking forward to frequenting this site again! Take care ! Blah... Wave

You mean, something like a dream journal for multiple people? That would be cool. Maybe you could find a few people to partner up with, and start one in the Dream Journal section? You can always keep your separate dream journals, and then just cut and paste all your dreams into the one group journal.

I'm trying to think of a good reason to do this. Maybe for a shared dreaming experiment? See if you start influencing each other's dreams? I know I am easily influenced by reading other people's dreams.

I feel that if we have all our dreams located in one central area then numerous things could arise from it. new ideas, movie ideas, maybe seeing into the future? Also institutions could use the site for research. This site could further our knowledge into the human psyche. It could cause somebody to read a dream and become influenced by it and become something great. We could even publish a giant book and somebody's dream could become infamous like a poem. There are numerous reasons why you should join. There hasnt been a site like this specifically for this purpose ... ive looked long and hard. This is what we really need as true dreamers.

Well, I think the Dream Journal section of this forum is a good collection of dreams all in one place. The only difference is that they are organised into user categories... ie each user has their own thread.

I don't mean to be negative but I would think just seeing a jumbled list of dreams would be difficult to read and you would have to sort through a LOT of boring trash.

Some of my own dreams are so boring it's a drag to have to record them... let alone read them.

And while some of my dreams may be very entertaining or interesting to me, they may be a complete bore to someone else.

Having lots of people posting their dreams in one jumbled place would make finding the interesting ones difficult.

Oh that site is really quite a good idea, I've always wanted to submit my dreams to some kind of database like that, you should like beable to search them with key words/dreamer and such, you might have implemented that feauture, but I just took a quick look around. (yeah I know this site has those features, just making suggestions)

Though I havn't reached the stage were I've started recording my dreams that much, I don't use dream recall on any of my methods so when I do it'd be just to brag about my accomplishments :P, and it'd probably be on my own blog, maybe even video (would that be interesting? not sure)

Thats why I put a rating systems so you can just view top rated dreams if you wish. The dreams are categorized bytags so you can for example find only scary dreams if thats what interests you. I will be adding an option to share your dream through video later if you would want to do so.

Maybe post only lucid dreams?

Lucid dreams rule, definitely my favorite. You can put whatever you'd like!

We have several active users and the dreams are certainly interesting. Looks like we are gaining some interest! Hope to see you all there :)
