      Longest LD yet

I timed it with the clock before, from the moment I went back to sleep (6:00) to when I lost lucidity and woke up (6:20). I'm guessing it was at least 10 minutes long.

To prolong my dream I strongly visualized the faces of my dream characters and my face in the mirror, ect. I feel this is a major breakthrough for myself because I actually remembered my goals.

I was looking for my supposed "DG". I walked up to a dream character and asked him if he seen him. Of course nothing never goes as planned. He told me that he hadn't seen my DG around for a while since the volcano incident

I have questions though. I had trouble imagining a beach outside when I opened my door. I'm really afraid to change locations spinning because it's vital for me to have a stong visual connection to stay dreaming. What can I do?

Imagine a poster on the wall and try to step through it? Then you'd still have that visual link.
      Was this a WILD?
You said it was actually about 10 min long... did it feel longer than that while you were in the dream?

Haha do you have any idea what the volcano incident was? Maybe next time you could mount a search and rescue operation for the DG.

Knowing me the poster technique would be harder to generate and pull off than simply making a place through a door. But I give it a try. I probably wouldn't last long flying because my attention wouldn't really be centered well.

I guess I was just doing WBTB. I wasn't really trying though. While I was dreaming I felt like I was burdened with something I forgot. Realization felt like pulling on that burden(my unconscious confirmation) until I consciously said it out loud.

It felt longer than ten minutes. Time may pass the same in dreams, but that doesn't mean we precieve it the same. So many things happened, it felt like an hour with all the dreamscapes changing.

No idea. That sounds like an interesting idea, I put it into serious consideration.

That's what I was curious about. The perception of the passing of time. They seem to always be longer than they actually are, 6x longer is pretty neat!

Yea, even if you can't rescue the DG, at the very least it would be cool to see a volcano haha
