SO you sort of did a Wild in reverse (mistook Hypnopompia for Hypnagogia). The same thing happened to me once.

i know this is an old thread, but it came up in a quick search. I actually had one of these earlier this week. I was dreaming normally but then had WILD sensations. I felt like I was being lifted up from within my body and was beginning to exit the dream. It took me a while to realize what was happening and I became lucid mid-way through the transition. I tried to calm down and return to the dream and continue lucidly, but it was almost like i was being forced awake.. I couldn't go back as if someone was pushing me from behind.
