Because of "time dilation" in dreams it is possible to have dreams that seem to last for a very long time. The longest seeming dream I've ever had lasted a few days.
this gets discussed here like once a month lol.
have a search, youll find like 9000 other topics. maybe.
Iv had a non-lucid that lasted like 2 hours despite only taking about 20 minutes real time.
happens to me a lot with non lucids
Time dilation is a side-effect of the "Uberman", polyphasic sleep schedule.
It has been my experience and many of those with whom I correspond that dream time can be very different than time experienced in this waking reality.
I have been out so long that I was sure that my body had died. When I came back it had only been a short while.
Fascinating! That is very encouraging.
I have read that lucid dreams are very close in time differents mabie not in normal dreams im not sure but if you had a none lucid dream what seemed to last days or years how would you remember it all.
Well, I generally have real time-like kind of dreams, tough I once forced one to last for 4 days while it had only been 6 hours and 37 mins, I had the clock to check it; So yes I suppose its possible, tough its hard to follow the dream for that long since the flashback of reality hits you at times, that or it was because I was a kid.
I have had a dream that I would call sort of an adventure. The whole dream lasted about 2 or 3 months. It was a very enjoyable dream.
