      3 times scared

i cant remember if i have read something on these or not so im putting up this post...

three times within the last 2 weeks i have a dreams where a figure(masculine) has been in the same room as I have. I am not aware of this figure until i turn around and he grabs me. it is a very terrifying thing even in a dream situation. i never see a face or even a full body. i somehow know he is a man, and he is pitch black. like a shadow...but tangible. the first two times i woke up as soon a he grabbed my arm. then the 3rd time (last night) he grabbed my arm and i felt the squeeze. i kept saying "i hope this is a dream" and when i woke up my whole body was vibrating. each of the three times this has happened it has been somewhere in my house (bathroom office bedroom).

kinda long to read i know im sorry

but is there a name for that type of figure? does he/she represent anything? please tell me all you can on this subject.

      thank you!

It sounds like a bit of visual hallucination coupled with sleep paralysis. I'm not sure if this dark man represents anything to you, but it should be easy to get rid of him or at least neutralize the situation if you try. Try telling yourself before you go to sleep each night that when you see this man or feel his presence you will realize you're dreaming. Really concentrate on this as you relax and drift off to sleep as your mind is really suggestible at this point. Once you know you're dreaming, that's half the battle! Then you can do whatever you want. Have a bright light shine down on him. Make him turn into black goo. Do anything to confront this dream creature. Once you do, you'll probably stop dreaming about him or he'll no longer be a threat to you. The key is to try and really believe that it will work. Realize that this figure is merely a part of your subconscious that you can easily control if you have the right mindset.

      Hope that helps. Good luck!
