yeah I used to fight it as a little kid before I knew it would lead to lucid dreams. its a bit scary trying to get out of it cause you can't move AT ALL. you just keep trying until you break free!
oh and on your second question, I'm not sure. every time I get into SP it happens naturally so I just close my eyes and jump right into the dream with FULL control!
yes!!! its possible!!
Open your eyes and you should go out of SP.
If you reach SP there is a good chance that you'll start dreaming. It either happens or it doesn't and it seems to be random so don't get discouraged.
Just hold your breath until you wake up.
It may take a second, just remind yourself that it's perfectly natural to be paralyzed. Once your eyes are open your mind should reconnect itself to your body, it doesn't like getting inputs from your eyes, but not the rest of you.
transflux: I think he is asking how to get out of SP while awake, not awaken from an LD.
I never experienced SP before, do you get it after you get up to do a WBTB or can u get it once you first lie down in bed?
It's hard to control your breath while you're in the SP fase..
Atleast I couldn't regulate it well..
I've experienced SP quite a few times (although not very recently), and my eyes are always open when it happens. I find that just concentrating really hard, and moving my eyes around really fast helps and usually get's me out of SP. But that's just me.
