A non lucid lucid dream

Yeah that's right lol. Last night I went to sleep, had some random dream but the dream itself isn't important. It was fairly far fetched and I was climbing what was basically a climbing wall without any safety ropes, I got quite high and then though to myself, 'What if I fall?' to which I answered to myself, 'Oh wait, doesn't matter, this is a dream'.
So basically I knew it was a dream, yet still continued on as usual I thought nothing of it, so basically not what I would call lucid. I was just wondering if anyone else has done that or if it was just epic fail on my part :P

Happens all the time. Technically you were lucid, just not very high functioning cognitively. People call this partial-lucid.

ya that happens to me every once in a while.

Oh nice, thought I had dropped the ball.

haha thats funny, it's happened to me before to. sucks being that close lol

Lord, I experience this in my dreams ALL THE TIME.

In that case, this probably happens to me every night. Every time I think about it in dreams, I think, "Only a dream," and continue on without it hitting me. Really gets on my nerves.
