Okay, so last night was the fourth night I attempted lucid dreaming. I think I was very close.
To keep it as short as possible, here's my dream in a nutshell: I was walking into my middle school, trying to remember which classroom is mine. Then I realized it's the first day of high school, I am supposed to be at the high school across the street. Then I was walking down the hall, and I thought how did I make a mistake like this? I must be dreaming.
So I looked at my hands, and they looked normal, and I tried to put my finger through my palm, and it didn't go through. I really thought I felt my fingernail on my hand. So then I decided this was real, and continued through the dream, taking it as reality, not noticing the other obvious dream signs that happened later.
So what I'm asking is, does this happen to anyone else? Could I be dreaming of almost lucid dreaming? And is there a better reality check I could try? A really foolproof reality check? Thanks! :)
