      Obsessed With Lucid Sex

Yeah... the title really says everything. I have had 35 LD's in 8 months (quite an accomplishment!) but for the last five or so, all I have done is have lucid sex. Now, I'm not downgrading it's qualities, for the people who enjoy it, and who can actually do it without waking up. I have had some good times, but recently, my experiences have been un-realistic and not fun. I had one last night, and it was certainly not worth the effort, especially considering that I always ask permission before I actually have sex. Anyway, I want to accomplish other things, like the Task Of The Month, and I want to ask DC's questions, like what I should title the novel that I am finishing. However, I can't keep my mind of sex, and it's the first thing I think of when I become lucid. It's getting really annoying, not saying that I'm not grateful for the LD's I have. I just want to do other stuff, too. Any tips?

Well, congrats on actually managing it

As for stopping the obession, there is this thing that guys do to relieve pressure... If you do the thing that guys usually dothan you will be a little off thinking about sex,

Basically masturbate, before going to bed. No big deal, after a few days you should probably be getting your mind off it.

Let me know if it helps.

hehe If it's your dream why do you have to ask for sex?

I lucid dream all the time but I never control what kind of dreams I have, I find it isn't nearly as exciting. But I wish I had more sex dreams though. lol

Thanks, but actually, my lucid success rate is much higher if I don't masturbate, for some reason. Plus, if you read my "Masturbation Problem" thread in the Help! section, then you would know that I am already trying to cut back on this. I basically need a way to keep my mind off sex in lucid dreams without masturbating before bed.

Because I'm weird Actually, it's because I'm training for real life, and also, I usually end up getting hurt if I "force the issue," and I lose lucidity.

I hate to break it to you, but in real life it's a little more complex than walking up to a stranger and asking permission for sex.

Yes, I am very aware that it is more complicated. Also, I usually get beaten up by the girl I am after if I force the issue, it's kinda weird, for sure. I've learned my lesson, so I just ask first. I always get scared, because I think it might be real life for a few seconds.

Wow, I really hope so! If it was real life, it would be the most embarassing moment of my life, by far. It's pretty fun to see the response, though, in the dream.

Oh ok I understand you, then just get head from your women before you go to bed everynight, it's completely different.

But on a serious, non-masturbation, non-getting head note: I've learned that the only way to get rid of that craving, is to satisfy it. Sorry bro, but that's all I know.

      Goodluck.

well this is pretty cut and dry. Your royally screwing yourself up. IMO there is no "masturbation problem" it is totally natural and in fact if you don't do it than you will find that you can't stop thinking of it.

Basically your subconcious is ...well...for lack of a better word...horny. Thats why your having so many sex dreams. There is nothing pyschologically you can do. If you think to yourself "dont think about sex" you will probobly think about it.

Trust me your fighting a losing battle against your body. Just give it up It not that big of a deal. Accept it, It stopped being taboo ages ago contrary to what christianity states.

Another option: is to simply have a good enough lucid sex dream that it takes care of it. Than you can be like yea that was great random girl I saw in a porn movie last week.....now what is the title of that book...ill go down on you f you tell me. Than poof you had a really good dream and found the title of your book. Win-Win

Well there are some people who are addicted to sex/masturbation. And there are ways to use psychology to address such problems. So it really depends on the extent of his problem. But if he wants to stop it, regardless of why or how, I think we should try to find constructive ways to help him out.

I've never, ever had a sex dream. And I like to keep it that way. If your body is experiencing arousal, kill it with masturbation. And I don't know what it's like for sexuals (I'm asexual), but I never think about sex and it's therefore never in the forefront of my mind, and people tend to dream about things they are constantly thinking about right?

Have you tried autosuggestion? Perhaps try thinking of something you want to try in your next LD, and using autosuggestion to try to remember to do it next time you are lucid.
