Consistent Dream State, Question

Is it possible to dedicate your sleeping hours to creating a consistent-dreaming environment?

From time to time I find myself revisiting the same places in my dreams, only to find them more elaborate and often more populated than before.

Is there some way, like how we encourage our minds to recall dreams, to recall specific places outside of reality, and to step equally between two worlds rather than what we know as our waking life and the many mixed and wonderous dream-realities we know?

What would it take for any of you to create such an existence?
What changes would it make in your waking-life if you held an equal existence in another?
If you created such a world... what would it take to bring someone else into it?

Give me your thoughts on this.
I'll be starting tonight; somewhere between 2am and 4am PST.

Well, I've certainly been able to increase consistency and stability in my dreams. Just a month or two ago before I started my current dream focus, my dreams were incredibly not coherent or stable at all. It was more like a haphazard collection of constantly shifting ideas and realities, like a commercial.

Since I started, my dreams have stuck for longer, have remained more consistent in terms of space and narrative, and have even developed into fairly coherent stories you could almost turn into a movie. I'm actually finding myself surprised at how consistent the dreams are becoming.

So, I would say with enough focus, patience, and energy you could do it probably, or at least get a regularity about it.

I find it easier nowadays, perhaps in being simply honest with my desires, to create directives for my own subconscious state. I'm not sure where it originates from, but I would be willing to discuss it with others - but it is not the point I am currently attempting to get to.

So I created a mental realm and stated, simply, that all other dreamers were invited to come; all those willing to join could do so.

I don't know if it was a simple deterioration of my consciousness or some supernatural knowledge gifted to me by a dream state, but I came to the understanding that this sort of thing was not uncommon, and with every waking moment that people interact with oneanother there are also people in dream-state doing so in a similar manner.

I must admit, for the sake of all honesty, that I came to DV because of my own discomfort with 'lucid-living.' While I had hoped to create a dream environment built around understanding and compassionate fellow dreamers, instead I found myself in the midst of strange and sometimes wonderous representations of the same types of people I inhabit my everyday life with.

Suffice to say, most of us were represented in equal fashion on the darkside; those who would rob me and harm me were the wolves in the woods, while I was, of course, the rabbit.

There are those who explain dreams as... DMT, is that right? A chemical reaction. No supernatural origins. No importance other than a subconscious release valve. I don't doubt this whatsoever, because it isn't that hard to believe that I could invent such a place and situation in my subconscious, with a wide range of equally ficticious people to join me there.

It is my honest theory, however, that a person could in fact construct an alternate reality of equal depth to this one, and that such a person, if capable of maintaining a meaningful existence in both, would transcend the inherient boundaries of 'self' and become the first true force of balance in the world.

At this point I suppose I have no option but to see what happens.

Tonight I see if I can survive the wolves. Let them come.

As for shared lucids, I assume such things can happen, a comnbination of dreams and telepathy, but I'm really here for the original question, on the creation of a consistent environment in one's dreams. I've not been there recently, but I have been to, aside from a sort of television miniseries worth of dreams with a consistent environment, a building that I kept exploring, on an average of one more room per dream. THe most recent dream, I went through a door onto a beach and haven't been back since, but there are doors I hadn;t checked, and a door that was blocked by a laundry cart, and you have inspired me to see if i can;t continue my exploration of the area, with keeping the already found rooms consistent.

My LD world is pretty much the same as my real life world.
I start in my own room, then im out in my own town. But then
i go to places ive never been before. I havent created the same
ppl from my real life into my LD world tho. So do you mean....
everything and everyone the same thing?
