weird...

you became lucid for the rest of the dream right?

i think the whole point of this is that even though he saw dream signs,explained them and noticed them he was still in a dream.

actually i didn't attain lucidity. but I think i'm improving lately. it's the second dream I have where I realise I'm dreaming, but I can't get lucid.

thats weird, that you can tell your mum your dreaming, explain why and point out several dream signs, and not be lucid.

i guess this is sort of like dreaming about being lucid, but without being lucid.

maybe you're not doing the self-awareness thing that goes with RC's?

Maybe. How does that work? (Sorry i don't feel like looking at the faq to find it)

when you do an RC in waking life, instead of just automatically going, "am i dreaming? nope." you have to look around and become aware of yourself and how if feels to be aware.

think about what you can see, hear, smell, taste, touch, and think about what thinking itself feels like, and perhaps a more abstract awareness... open up the possibility that everything is merely inside your head, and that perhaps your really are dreaming. actually look around and notice all the little details.

then your meant to imagine what it would be like if you were dreaming. what dream signs would you see? what would you do if you knew it was a dream?

i guess the point of this is that when you realise your dreaming, its not enough just to say it to yourself once, you need to bring part of your conciousness into the dream.

oh, and i think this applies to increase lucidity when you actually are dreaming.

Like in Waking Life (the movie), the main character asks that girl "whats it like to be a character in a dream?"

Well now I don't remember what she said. But I bet it was something idiot like "cool" or "i see", after all, it was in my dream, and in my dream it seemed normal. It's being really hard to write it all in my DJ lately, because when I wake up I just want to go to sleep again, and when I wake up in the morning I have to take a bath and go to school asap.

I was getting a little disappointed with LD, not keeping a DJ and all, but I think my dream recall ability is pretty good, so it may not be necessary. I'll move to the reality check part. You guys think I'm making any progress? I'm here for less than a month. The other dream I had where I knew I was dreaming was in the same day I read this site. Well, this dream sure cheered me up and I'll work harder in my reality check thing.

haha and we both cant speak the language neither(but i can understand most of it and i think gameover to)..kinda sucks though =/
