      Any Professional Dreamers Out There?

I was just wondering if there was anybody that was really good at controlling there dreams and can have them almost every week. If you could give me some ideas to get lucid besides waking up in the middle of the night and reality testing i would really appreciate it. Or if you are really good at controlling your dreams I could use some tips on that to!

get some headphones and listen to music before you fall asleep, listen to your favorite songs. I have lucid dreams every time I do this as long as I get 6-9 hours of sleep.

I get a lucid at least once a week, generally. Sometimes more. I do reality checks, read this site multiple times a day, talk about it often, read EWOLD, watch movies about dreams, and keep a dream journal. I also view videos (youtube is great) to get ideas for dream tasks that I want to achieve. Imagining those helps, I believe. I've only been seriously working on LDing since April. If you put in the hard work, effort, and dedication, you can too. Other people will probably suggest supplements or even drugs, but I prefer the free and fulfilling method. (Please no one start anything about this, I mean that you put in hard work, and you get results, and you feel like it wasn't a waste of time )

Keep reading through Dream Views and you will find that there are all sorts of techniques for lucidity. Focusing on awareness and and doing RCs, learning to be aware even in your dreams, is one of the easiest ways to LD.

I get multiple DILD's a week, and I think there are really only three things you need to do to accomplish that.

      1. Turn a subtle RC into an ingrained habit. Upwards of 80% of my LD's are from successful RC's.

      2. Keep a dream journal at least until your dream recall is good enough to remember a dream every night in detail.

      3. As Shift said, give yourself goals to accomplish. Once you've mastered or tired of something, give yourself a new goal until you accomplish or tire of it.
