      Huh?

Last night, I was going to try WBTB and the dream reentry, I wen't to bed at 12 am, and set my alarm to 6 am. But, is it possible to just have audio in a dream? I vividly remember just an anonymous persons voice, not ANY visuals at all. It was talking directly to me, but i dont remember what. But at 4:00ish, it told me to wake up, and i did. The weird thing is, that I have a pretty good dream recall, I can remember at least one a night, but usually 2 or 3. So I went to sleep, couldnt remember the dream then, but upon awakening at 6, I tried to somehow reenter the dream by focusing on the audio,, but it didn't work. Anyone have anything similar with just an audio dream?

sounds like a pre-dream state. Like entering a WILD, before you actually make it.

      This is a little similiar.

I have my alarm clock set so that the radio turns on, and I time it so it turns on when the news are on. It woke me up one morning, but within a minute, I fell back asleep and went back into the dream I was currently in. So in my dream I was on a bus, and the bus driver was reading us the news.

It was very interesting because I was sitting beside the bus driver, watching his lips move and seeing him read the news off the paper. But I was actually listening to the radio news in reality and his voice was the radio. Very neato. I watched him for 5 whole minutes in my dream. Thats hella long to stay focused.
.......Then I think of my youth and of my first love-when the longing of desire was strong. Now I long only for my first longing. What is youth? A dream. What is love? The substance of a dream.

I once dozed off in front of the television, the ensuing dream resembled a music video with fast cuts between action shots and music played over top. When I woke up the song that was in my dreams was just finishing up on TV.

Still makes sense to me. Most WILDs are done after ltosof sleep and they can happen mid sleep too.
