Lucid dream because I can just rob a bank in my dream and use that million bucks :D
Hah I must be an oddball, I would HATE to have $2mil. I suppose I like the satisfaction of earning my wages. ;) So no-brainer, I would totally chose LD'ing.
Lucid Dreaming , no doubt...
I'd take the money, I lucid dream every other night or so anyway.
Guess it depends on the quality of the LDs that I was promised.
On the other hand, 2 million bucks would really help out my family. So I would choose it for them, especially if I could continue to pursue LDing on my own. If it wasn't for them, I think I would go for the LDs though. :)
I would choose the money. Dream control has so far been much easier to learn than earning money. Anyway, I need the money more than I need to dream more easily (you can't buy food with dreams, uunless they are really really interesting and you have a publishing contract), and aside from that, it seems that lucidity would be far cooler after having worked for it, whereas money is cooler when its free.
the money..i already LD.
Probably LD's , £1.000.000 i could probably spend in a weakend -.-
wouldent like the feeling i had to make the £1.000.000 last until i was dead or i would have to go back to work, not nice!
If I may suggest a slightly different question:
Would you wanty to lucid dream every night for the rest of your life or have one million pounds go towards money for life saving operations on third world children?
LD's still because i'm not heartless or anything but natural selection is takeing its course and there is nothing anyone or any money can do to help :/
The money; for two reasons: My overall main goal is to reach a point where I can LD at will. But since Dreaming has been such a strong passion for me, I want my experience to come from discipline, perseverance and time. I want to be able to look back and honestly say: "I've earned this, because I've put my heart into it." If I was just given this ability, it wouldn't seem as satisfying in the end. Plus, i could use the money. Everyone can use the money.
But if the money came with the commitment to never have an LD again. I would take the dreams and run.
LDing because I'm a heartless b*tch
No not really.
LDing because saving those poor children isn't going to help anyone but those few orphans. That money could be put to better use, like educating the parents and children in those third world countries. If I had my choice of how the money was spent in that country, then I would choose that.
the money...i can just take some dmt
Haha... Yeah. That made me laugh. It reminded me one time when I got a big 2 week paycheck and was thinking what to do with the cash I had leftover. I thought... 'I could save it and put it towards ads and keyword optimization for my website.' 'I could buy a Wii.' And during this thinking a random thought popped in. 'Or I could save about 30-40 Sub-Saharans inflicted with bad cases of Malaria.'Quote:

I just sat there for while less excited then I was before.
"Crap."
I would take the money.
Money easily! No need to work ever! I lucid anyway.
It reminds me of a comedy routine called 'The Glass.' In the middle he just randomly bursts out with 'Starving Africans, starving Africans, starving Africans, they ruin everything!' talking about how bad it akes him feel when he buys alot of stuff.Quote:
I get that very often when I have money. Its a really weird and awful thing. In some ways I'm glad not to have too much stuff.
To Ld every night I've got enough money for 30 lifetimes
I would still take the lucids, but I don't find it greedy to take the money..some would like money some would like lucids every night..It's about what make you happy.
Money can be happieness to some..I do believe money can buy some happieness.
And lucids can make others feel really happy.
My view on this post.
yeah... but i gotta mention something: lucids EVERY night can be dangerous! they can make you addicted and you can go crazy or dont mind any more about waking life...
It's funny how some people have mentioned they'd rather earn their LD's than be granted one every night. I feel that sort of "didn't earn this" guilty feeling just thinking about DEILD's. It seems too easy, if you can recognize you just woke up. I've never had one, but it wouldn't be as satisfying to me as a normal WILD or DILD would.
Between the money and the LD's, I'd choose the LD's, I think. Well, I'm 15, so I don't exactly need the money yet, but I know I'll be satisfied with however much I need just to live comfortably...I wouldn't need $2 million. But lucid dreams every night would be priceless, if they felt like I earned them.
If I had the money, I could probably do some of the things that I want to in my dreams.
But, in my dreams, I can do anything I want without money, and I wouldn't have to worry about consequences.
Every night, guaranteed? Are you kidding!? If a 'Total Recall' guarantee came with that, I'd PAY the 1M for it! ;)
