      DEILD Probs ^^

      Hi everyone^^

keeping my eyes closed when waking up is no prob for me, BUT i often immediatly start to move into a more comfortable position to continue dreaming.

Any tips on how to keep motionless?

      thanks!

This happened to me too! My hip just kinda rotated. I would think that as long as your brain isn't controlling your movements (you aren't doing them on purpose), you will stay in REM.

But I don't know for sure, so don't hold me against it.

      Hi Blitzwing.

I find DEILD to be one of the most effective ld techniques there is. Whenever I use the technique, after waking up I too always move to a more comfortable position while keeping my eyes closed.

Moving/shifting position has not had a negative impact on the DEILD method for me, I still get sleep paralysis and go into a lucid dream. I think for me, when I wake up I shift around before dozing back off anyway, so for some people like me shifting position while keeping the eyes closed may be a necessairy part of the DEILD process.

I find that moving inhibits my attempted DEILDs. One thing that really helps is planting the suggestion before sleep, saying "when I wake up, I will not move" or something of the sort. Try it out!

thanks. ill try that, cause it works for me by now ^^. i just attempted to DEILD because i before repeated "I will notice the end of my dream and wake up", soooo im just gonna extend it like so "i will notice the end of my dream and wake up motionless" ^^

@Puppycat (btw, cooool name ^^ i like it): yeah, i do believe in your words, but i dont think that my motions arent controled by my brain... i think im doin them willingly... its kinda just somethin i got used to.. you get that? ^^

Lol. Maybe not for you, but AutoSuggestion has worked for hundreds of people on this site. If you made a thread "post here if AutoSuggestion worked for you", you would find out how many people use it.

Try to sleep with your face up, laying down in your back. In this position when you wake at the middle of the night your body wonīt fell necessity to move. I read this in a Astral Projection article and every time i do it i Deild efectively, although itīs a little hard to me fall asleep in this position. (sry for my rusty english )

Itīs true but in this position that is less probable happening. For example, in my sleep cycle i always wake at 2am and 4am. So at 2 am i shift to the position described, iīm too tired so itīs easy to fall asleep again. At 4am let begin the magic! Itīs less probable my body roll over with this method.

Another sugestion itīs to use a alarm that only play during 2-5 seconds. Whatever the position i use, i can alaways get some nice results with this. The unique problem it is sometimes iīm to tired to hear the alarm ...like today...

I've had two DIELDs now, both accidental. In both situations, I changed my position before going back to sleep. I still went in sleep paralysis just seconds later and had a DIELD both times. All you really have to do is just stay conscious when you shortly begin to go back to sleep.

Moving never stops me from having a DEILD. I always have a derivation of a DEILD. I may move, but I can still inject myself back into the dream 50% of the time. Just go with it.
Does anyone else find it incredibly odd that out of ALL of the possible creatures on this earth, that most furries are either lupine, vulpine, or feline?
