Anyone else WILD or DEILD for just the "ride" sometimes?

I do it sometimes, it really is somewhat entertaining late at night, when I forget that it is used for LDs. Still, I chained a couple normal dreams (because I forgot the LD part) this morning, so it was basically one loooooooong dream that lasted all night. Like a movie.
Does anyone else find it incredibly odd that out of ALL of the possible creatures on this earth, that most furries are either lupine, vulpine, or feline?

I do that all the time. Whenever I think an LD is ended I set myself up to DEILD.

Na, this is mainly about going through a WILD or DEILD for just the "ride" it gives you. The consequence of having a DEILD is that it continues the dream you just had when you woke up, usually lucid if you can remember, I just did it by reflex forgetting the lucid part. I was essentially in the dream state of mind when I woke up, so it could have been a false awakening, but either way, it was fun.

I sometimes do it, because right when I wake up, when a DEILD would work really good, I feel too tired to lucid dream almost, so I just make the excuse to do it for a somewhat trippy (hopefully relaxing) experience. Though often when I get into a dream I am ready for action.

So then youre saying you dont have to be lucid in a DEILD? I have many
times woken up and then slipped back into the same dream again, is that
      right?

I think he means hes dreaming, he wakes up and knows he was dreaming, and then consciously flops back into the dream, though not lucidly.

My wife claims to do that all the time. The number of times she's shhhhhhed me in the morning complaining that she wants to "finish a nice dream"

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the experience of sleep paralysis and all the weird things that happen before a dream starts up, like strange sounds and weird feelings.

Reading the first post again he just seems to be refering to having passive dreams that he forgets about being lucid in, and chaining those.

I'm talking about just going in a DEILD just for the "ride" it gives, not just purely for the LD it gives usually. For example, a few days ago I inadvertantly chained one long passive dream together by DEILDing. That's what I'm talking about.
