when i am coming to the end om my LD's I become aware of my actual body and i dont really know how to explain it but when it is over i am already awake, i just open my eyes...
i want to know if you all have similar endings or do you go back into a non-lucid dream or do you have something totally different happen?
Mine always end with a sort of "fade to black" as I realise I'm waking up...
^Ditto, only mine are more "fade to gray".
"OMG I'M IN A LUC- *opens eyes* Oh, dammit. Not again :("
Sometimes I just get too overcome with excitement, start thinking of the fact that I am actually physically laying in my bed, and wake right up. No fading in these cases, just all of the sudden I'm staring at my ceiling or whatever. I'd highly recommend not thinking about your body while you are lucid :roll:
Other, more stable lucid dreams I just sort of KNOW that they are ending, and things start to lose details, they wind down, get dark, move more slowly, and then I wake up. Usually when these happens I get filled with a strange feeling I don't get a lot in real life. I always feel very accomplished, proud, comfortable, accepting of the fact that it is ending just because it was such a good lucid. So while that's happening I'm just sort of like "hmmm that was so amazing, I'm waking up now, but that's ok, that was so awesome.... :)"
Once I intentionally woke myself up. I don't even know how. I think by just thinking about my physical body and immediately waking up.
Well, it is either this: (Oh I will wake up soon, better to do it by myself "wakes up") or (Ah I can't wake up... silly FA with SP... "hits family member so they will wake me")
With a bang... always with a bang.
They slowly fade and most times i cant seem to stop it like this morning.
usually fade to black.
really it's hard to tell!
usually i AM lucid dreaming and then it's so awesome my eyes are wide open and i know this is truly a lucid dream because life just isn't this freaking colorful
and then somehow,
my eyes still open, no darkness or transition--
i realize my eyes are wide open and im in reality. haha
