Oh, wow. Epic embarassment ^_^
So, I'm going to post an excerpt from my dream journal. I literally slapped my forehead when I got up this morning. I have two dream signs that are almost guaranteed to occur every night, those being my wife, and some sort of malfunctioning equipment. I had just finished up a dream where I was discussing redecorating the house with my wife, and when it ended I segued into the next dream...
"We're seated in a bunker below ground, with a SPECTRE-like group of evil oneironauts, and I'm on the receiving end of a scathing debriefing of my LAST DREAM (!). I come into the room in the middle of the conversation, and sit down at the head of the table. To my left is my superior, and to my right is his superior, also the highest rank in the room. The man to the left plies a weak defense, stating that I can't be faulted because my fundamental dream skills are still early in development, with which I sheepishly concur. The increasingly irritable gent on the right goes into a tirade, chastising me for making it all the way through the dream without realizing my primary dream sign (my wife) was in play. Bombs go off somewhere overhead, throwing bits of debris into the air from the ceiling. He calms slightly, and explains that their situation is critical and that they desperately need every possible agent to be active as well as effective. I respond by reminding him that my LD training, while in its early stages, appears to be generating positive results, and I'm confident that I'll be significantly more effective in short order. At that point the meeting is adjourned due to the overhead bombing."
I failed to achieve lucidity in either dream. Oh man, I need a drink. :eek:
