In this thread, post the very first thing you did in your very first lucid dream.
Mine was:
I looked at my hands and counted 9 fingers. I then tried to fly, but to no avail. I then walked to a friends house to tell them I was dreaming.
i flew around for about a minute, then got excited and woke up
First child lucid dream: I kicked a nightmare's ass.
First trained lucid dream: I jumped rooftops.
First good lucid dream: I rolled in leaves (engage the senses), went to a massive outdoor party, showed off lucid powers, flew, found a picture of my dream guide.
Only had 3:
1) Walked around and it faded quickly.
2) Walked around my house and managed to convince myself I wasn't dreaming and that I was going to get caught by my parents walking around at 3 AM.
3) Walked around, hovered around my house, put my finger through my palm and controlled the lighting. Not much, but the best so far :)
I was atop a giant tower with 2 friends, and one fell off. It was then I realized I was dreaming and that no hard would befall him--or me. I ran off the tower and dove in freefal until i caught him. I then sprouted immaculate golden wings and flew around for awhile. The exhilaration lasted all day.
I swam to the bottom of the bay.
(And didn't drown lol)
I was being driven in a car by my friend, and we were being chased by someone with a knife  I realized it was a dream and stuck my head through the glass in the window, then I made the car disappear and told him it was my dream. He didn't believe me, so to prove it to him I grabbed his arm and started to fly. Then I accidentally summoned a huge scary horror movie monster and panicked and woke up! :boogie:
Yikes!! My friend and I were talking, or rather, e-mailing, and she said this about her lucid dreaming experience:
I have them every now and then, but I hate it. A few weeks ago, I was in a dream and I realized I was dreaming and I was like, "OMG, I hope freddy kruger doesn't come out in this dream." And of course, because I thought it, he popped out from around a bush. I started pinching the crap out of myself and it didn't wake me up, but that's all I remember. Like, when you are lucid dreaming, you can make your dream whatever you want. But for me, I'm also scared to death of something scary coming out and me having to run, so that happens a lot. lol
That sounds so freaky to me!! I am SUCH a scaredy-cat, so I'm afraid if I ever do have a lucid dream, I'll do something like this. lol! :embarrassed:
First when I was a child (I was 4 or 5): Woke myself up.
First when I actually did something (4th grade I think): Went down a highway on a rocket powered skateboard. I lost lucidity and got drawn back into the dream.
First since I've been trying to LD: Saw my hand was weird and got freaked out. Turned into another room. Tried spinning and woke up.
Oh believe me, I am a HUUUUUUUUGE chicken when it comes to scary things. But what's great about lucid dreaming is that if you ignore scary things, they just flat out disappear. If you take time to stabilize, and make sure you are 100% lucid, even when scary things appear you're like "Omg! My brain made this! Look how accurately scary it is!!!" and then you can decide on a plan of action... "What can I do to mess with it? mwahahahaha! :mwahaha:"/"Oooh, how can I befriend it?" I find the best way is to befriend things that you can't get to leave you alone or that are scary. The only times I've ever been scared in lucids is when I haven't properly taken the time to stabilize first.
Also, a good idea is to have a few lucid dream goals that you REALLY want to accomplish, so you get so excited about that that you dismiss or don't even have thoughts of scary things. :)
I walked around for a minute, then took a look at my hands and noticed that I dinosaur scales and giant fingers. I closed my eyes, hoping that my fingers would be normal once I opened my eyes, but then I just saw covers and pillows :(
In my first lucid dream, I think I put myself on top of a gigantic building and just jumped off and tried to Spider-Man my way through a city, but I ended up hitting the ground and waking up.
Look at a dc who asked me if I like egg-pudding and wake up.
I was 6 or 7 and I was running around on the playground, realized I was dreaming, jumped a few times (20 or so feet) and then woke up.
Well, I just had my first one yesterday, woohoo!! :D
I looked down at my hands, and saw they were weird-looking... they were all white, and I couldn't see my fingers-- it's like they were all just one big finger, and I couldn't see any lines on my hands. I realized I was dreaming, and I went outside my bedroom and tried to summon David Duchovny but it didn't work and I was frustrated.
Haah my very first one which was a couple years ago when I was a kid. I dreamt I was in our upstairs bathroom then realized I was dreaming and for some reason..I went out and flipped off my family since I knew I wouldn't get punished for it..odd...
way long ago before I even knew what lucid dreaming was, I some how manages to pull this off.
I stoped what I was doing in the dream went to a table and wrote down on a piece of paper "I am dreaming right now"
hows that.
I had my first LD when I was about 9. I dreamed I dug up rubies in my backyard, then went to KB Toys to buy stuff with them lmao. I realized that this was too good to be true and became lucid, so I bought the pokemon yellow version since I didn't know what to do lol....
Oh my first lucid, just the common, killed a weak demon and helped my family not to eat me <.<
Thats what got me into dreams, so started training from that time on.
I tried to have sex lol.. so I went through a door thinking a girl would be there, but there was another door... this went on for about 5 mins then I lost cosisniss by going through so many doors lmfao
my first lucid dream was a few months ago before i even knew it existed. i was at a garden party talking to people and i realised i didnt actually know anyone there and thought i must be dreaming, i decided to test it and told someone that i thought i was dreaming and they laughed so i said to them if im dreaming i can make time stop and everything froze in position and i crouched next to a guy to have a close look and got super excited and woke up ... then i looked on google about it and started "training" :P
Lol....my first LD was induced by a run-of-the-mill reality check, I noticed I was hanging out with my friend in my backyard, and the first thing I told him I was going to do was wake up to tell him that I saw him in my LD....
....yeah, I sure milked that one
I was in a mall. I was smashing the windows and display cases in random jewellery stores with a bat.(there were like 50 stores, all lined up)
I thought to myself, this must be a dream. i pinched myself, and knew it was. so, knowing i was in a dream, there are no consequences, so i started streaking in the mall lol its messed i know, but hey--its a dream
I had a sort-of-one last year, in that I knew I was dreaming, but I didn't have much control. I sort of floated-glided down the street, told my mother to bugger off, and tried to summon a girl I like into the dream, but it didn't work. Then I woke up. Haven't had one again since.
Bugger.
I realized I was dreaming in my grandmothers house, so I just strated to explore it. I tried to change the scenery but couldn't. Eventually I just got distracted and lost lucidity.
