Brought another to the dark side!
So lately I've been getting very excited again about LDing. I'm also a firm believer in that if you surround yourself with LDing all the time your chances of having an LD increases because that's how I had my first. My brother has been very skeptical about it and thinks that it takes too much work to achieve. I've gotten frustrated with him in the past for not wanting to try it and yesterday I went off about the benefits and how you can retreat after a horrible day to a simple dream and feel better. I told him about reality checks and stabilizing your dreams and sure as shit he comes to me this morning and says, "I've been alive for 19 years and last night I had my first lucid dream.
All his doubt and negativity about LDing has gone. He loved it. I guess enough can't be said about that "he who experiences, knows."
I was amazed at the detail and length he was describing. He had a text book realization. "I took my sunglasses off but my vision didn't change. I tried it again and nothing so I figured I was dreaming. Jumped out the car window and flew into the air and landed in the gulf of mexico." Textbook.
