I could've went Lucid, but I didn't

Last night, I discovered probably the only way I'll become Lucid. I'd read somewhere about drinking milk to increase vividness so I decided it would be better to do it closer to a REM period. I went to bed at 12:30 and set my phone to wake me up at 5:30. In my dream I was running through a TF2 map and there was a heavily make-uped (is that a word?) Asian woman there, looking at me. Suddenly, I hear Stricken by Disturbed ring throughout the map. It was really, really loud. I cringed and I told myself, "Crap, I have to get up. Stop dreaming and get up." As I said it, I tried to stop myself from waking up but the music was too loud. I mean, I could feel myself cringing in my dream and in my bed as if I was in two places at once. I knew I was dreaming. When I actually realized it, everyone around me turned and stared at me angrily before fading out.

What I'm going to do tonight is turn the volume down a little bit and set it to wake me up again. Only this time, I won't wake up. Yay!

Btw, Milk doesn't do shit.

Yeah when all else fails, it's external 'disturbance' to the rescue be it a light or sound anything that works for you.

I use my watch! I do a reality check everytime my watch beeps! so I might hear it in my dream, but I never hear it in my dream! lol

ive had that feeling of being in two places at once, but i think my reason was focusing on something in the real world too much. but i supose your one could be seen as focusing on the music too much so its almost the same thing
