Being sick = bad recall?
I usually remember about 3 dreams every night, however I've had a cold for the past 2 days. On the first night of being sick I had no recall whatsoever, and last night I only remembered an action and a feeling.
Does being sick have negative effects on dream recall?

Hmm...that's a good thing to research, because when I'm sick not only do I remember dreams, they're 100 times more vivid than the dreams I have when I'm well.

Dunno, depending on what I have, sometimes it does lower recall a little and sometimes it does nothing.

I think its worth looking into. Its interesting to here that others have different experiences with this. The next time I get sick I'll report it!

I'm going to have to agree with pikachu on this one. When I'm sick, my dreams are much more vivid.

I know if I have a fever (a high one that is), I'll have very annoying repetitive dreams all night. I haven't noticed any significant differences when I just have a common cold or sore throat though.

When i was sick one time i had the absolute worst recall of my life, not remembering anything for the whole time. It sucked.

I havea pretty bad cold right now, and I woke up after every dream.. and I was worried about whiping my nose on something and getting back to sleep... all I remeber last night was something ABOUT someone gargling listerine..... EY!!! maybe thats what I need to do to help with my throat!

When i'm sick LDing isnt on my mind :P

My cold is almost gone, but I still have the same low recall that Ive had throughout the cold.
Last night I noticed the full effect of this. I LD'd last night, and I woke up without any recall of this. I remembered about 10 minutes later, something that has never happened to me after an LD.
I think that being sick has many different effects depending on the person. Maybe it even has something to do with the kind of sickness?
