Memories and Dreams
This has been a question that's been bugging me for a loooong time, though I've had no one to ask it to. How associative are dreams to memories? I mean this by a few things. For one, from a dream, particularly lucid, are you capable of recalling any memory? If so, with how much clarity? I've seen snow once in my life, when I was maybe 7 or 8. I was wondering if after I'm capable of altering my own lucid dreams, if I could recall how snow looks and feels just like how it was then, or would it be just what my mind thinks it would feel like?
(I'm fascinated =P)

Well, dreams will take most from your memory and sometimes make up new things, so yes its possible to do that, tough its easier to leave that job for the subconcient.

I'm shure it is possible, I would even expect it being possible to play in the snow when you have only seen it in tv or something.
On the other hand it is not possible to recall a memory as a film, because you'll act yourself in a dream, so you maybe are able to play in the snow or meet someone from elementary school, but you'll do something else. I believe.

It is possible. but remember our minds do not store things like a computer, but are an interconnecting web of associations and missing gaps that we make up. lol. So sometimes your mind will create what you think is a memory, even though it is in fact not.
