places that make you dream-paranoid

are there places that you dream of/become lucid in so often that you begin to continuously (like once per minute) do RC's in that place in RL? Mine is the street near my house. Luckily most of my RC's are completely invisible to the casual observer.

mine is in my physics class, but not because i have dreams there a lot, its because me and my friend in that class talk about lucid dreams a lot. another is on any bus, because one of my most significant LD started there.

Not like that... But I know what you mean. When I go into a building and have Deja Visite. (Deja Vu except you know the layout of the building.) I keep doing RCs...

And whenever I see something particularly obscure.
Bollocks.

Nowhere specific but if I find my somewhere particularly unusual or eery I'll keep doing RCs like an obsessed maniac.

Hey yurithebest, what RCs do you use? Just curious coz I'm sick of explaining to people why I'm pinching my nose. Ta

I don't count these as true lucids because they where not very clear, but until I have my first real lucid these will do.)

The bathroom. I don't know why - it just does. I know I'm not dreaming in RL, but I do RCs anyway, because it feels more dreamy. Many of my dreams occur in small, slightly eroded or rusted rooms. The bathrooms at my school are like that.

Basically also any building that looks old.

It's all about being discreet. Whenever I do a nose RC near ppl I make it look like I'm wiping my nose. Whenever I do a hand RC instead of lifting up my arm and looking at it instead I look down at the ground and glance at my arm. I also try to blow random objects up with my mind or just stand back, in my mind, from the commotion of the conversation and think "is there something wrong with all of this?", also, and this is a custom RC of mine since I tend to fly a lot in normal dreams so I attempt flight, but that just involves me imagining that my torso is about to take off, so it looks nothing more than a chest expansion/sudden breath when observed. Note that the nose technique, even when masked can still be noticed by ppl whom you've told about RC's Hope that was of help, cheers!

Yes it was, thank you very much Yeah, I don't mind my friends who know I'm into LD seeing me do a RC but if I need to do one in front of some random aquaintance or complete stranger (eg a waiter, someone serving me in a shop etc) then I'm faced with either explaining it all from scratch or looking like a complete nutter!

Wow! I just looked at your dream journal and it's flippin awesome. I love the bit where you said you would have been prepared to bet a million dollars you weren't dreaming right before finding out you were. I have felt exactly the same with many of my dreams. I'll be 100% convinced that I'm not dreaming and then hey presto I can breathe through my pinched nose!

Love how descriptive you are in your journal too. Keep it up!
