      Is this true for everyone

Whenever i tell myself before bed to wake up for WBTB 6 hours later, IT WORKS! It's like i am setting a mental alarm clock. Every time i autosuggest that i wake up sometime in the night, I DO! Maybe i wake up anyways, but the thought of it makes me actually remember.

I just find it really useful

I'm not sure if it is really that way I just know that soemtimes when I have something really important to do I'll end up waking up about an hour before on my own. I think the whole mental thing has a little bit to do with when you wake up.

If I set an alarm (unless its an every day thing) I usually wake up before it. Its probably because we're awake between our dreams, but we usually just roll over and fall back asleep. But if we know our alarm is going to go off, maybe we have more difficulty going back to sleep so we lay there long enough to remember.

This happens to me inconsistently. Sometimes, I can just think about a little bit before I fall asleep and I'll wake up somewhere around that time, but not right on the dot. Other times that's not enough and I just wake up whenever. Those are the days that I'm probably extra tired.

Usually right before it because your body anticipates it after awhile.

I start waking up these days about 30 minutes before my alarm goes off... Not always, but I start to wake up and go back to sleep. (Harder to get up after hitting snooze ~_~)

Eventually, and if you wanted to, I'd think so. If you keep your sleep schedule constant, it will become more frequent and accurate.

I usually wake 2 mins or 1 min before my alarm rings. Maybe my internal clock is just plain accurate. This has been going on for many years now

I usually wake up too when my REM-period ends. Or that is at least what I believe.
Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.

Well, yesterday, I've started my "training" towards fluid dreaming and it was my first time but when I told myself to wake up after each of my dreams I did (well 3 times) but it was really impressing because I had never tried. I didn't know we had a weak power to decide when i wanted to wake up.

Your mind is a powerful tool. Your sub-con is your best friend and worst enemy time to time.

Yes, it is powerful. I said weak because I still need to train it but seriously, I am well impressed of the result. Mind power is really good. I've tried self hypnotisis. I wonder if its gonna work... I know that one of the ingredients to it to work is to be sure of yourself but I don't have to much expectations for this first try.

      The mind is awesome
I never set an alarm, I always wake up like two minutes before my father wakes me up

      Oh, funny thing:
I told myself before bed that I would wake from a dream and recall it and then write it down. I did so. Only problem was...I had a False Awakening. So I did a lot of work in my dream, for nothing xD
It seemed like I remembered the preceding dream better, though

Cool. I feel so bad. This whole dream thing is really exciting me. Everyone in my family is taking me for a phsyco! lol! But I feel bad because it seems that my excitement is ruining it all because since I've started my dream rememberance has decreased....

I wake up about a minute or two before my alarm (at my mom's house) or when my dad comes to force me to get up (at my dad's, obviously). And I'm going to try this tonight.

As far as waking up when desired, I've found that having a solid sleep schedule will help immensely. When I was a freshman in college, I went to bed at 8pm (I had no life, seriously) and woke up at 6. That's how it was every day during the week without much exception. I began to wake up a minute or two before my alarm went off and then when I had to get up earlier I would be able to to tell myself what time and it actually happened!

I don't know if it's a foolproof method, but once your body begins to become accustomed to the schedule you keep, it will be more likely to keep time for itself.

A number of people I've talked to have experienced a decrease in their recall after actively learning to LD, but if you keep writing in your dream journal you'll be fine and it will come back and increase.

And feel free to be excited about dreaming! It's awesome! Seriously!
