      Yoga and dream recall

When I do certain postures in yoga memories of dreams come literally rushing back to me. They're nearly always the same type of dream, and some of them seem to be dreams that I had years ago. Certain types of dream always come back when I do certain postures; the type of dream I recall seems to be linked to the posture i am doing. In the group of people who I practice yoga with I seem to be the only person who has this type of experience, so I decided to find out if there are any dreamers out there who practice yoga and if there are, do you get dream recall when practicing yoga? Also have you ever tried any yoga postures in a LD?

      extract from my DJ:

(not me in the pictures btw)

the first one seemed to help. however number 3 instantly woke me up- seems I should NOT do any poses that involve me lying down- next time I'll just do the first pose and some general standing up stretching and breathing so that the "hurry up before the dream is over feeling" goes away, hopefully also while saying "stabilize!" and looking at my surroundings nd focusing on my breathing.
I also practice some yoga in the mornings- what asanas specifically help you with recalling dreams?

Ah excellent, thank you! I'll avoid any lying down poses to start with. For me trikonasana and anything like uttanasana - stretching the backs of logs/lower back seem to bring the dreams back. I was planning on starting with trikonasana and virabhadrasana II in the dreams, the first because it generates the dream recall, the second because it always calms my mind and brings clarity in waking state so it would be interesting to see what it does in sleeping state. And in the mornings, have asanas ever prompted dream recall for you?
