Lightbulb My LD Paradise- can anyone relate?

REALLY RANDOM, but since I was a little kid, reading storybooks and watching cartoons and such, I've always had this strange image in my head. This image is where I want to go to in my LD's.

I could draw it better than I can write it. It's a brick house with a chimney. No porch, not many levels, very simple, almost as if a child drew a house. It's surrounded by trees and it's very well-lit, even though the trees don't let any light in. All around it, the trees and the many, many leaves on the ground are many shades of red and yellow- not an ounce of green in sight.

Every year around autumn, I think of this image. It's weird, I must've seen it in a picturebook when I was very young and it stuck, because to me, it's just so beautiful. This place is where I want to live one day. Unfortunately, I don't think it exists. At least ... not yet.

So.. any feedback? I'm really gonna try to get this dream to come true. Anyone else have similar thoughts? Any similarly specific paradise-esque goals in LD-ing?

I like your idea of paradise. So simple and modest.

I want to go to a village in the forest. Or a utopian city in the sky. I haven't managed to get there yet.

Good luck in getting to that place,
Also, the one place I like is a desert with a forest around, where I can spar with my fav DCs all I want <.<
Creating a new persistent realm, claiming it and breaking the last seal I made back in the beggining of my journey are my goals right now

What strikes me is a secluded Island, with pristine beaches. Someplace that I could focus on my music.

Just because you haven't found it yet, it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. If you believe in the possibility of alternate dimensions and past lives then you may indeed see your brick home some day. I myself am waiting to visit my temporary paradise. I could spend eternity there, but I'd rather not. There are many places I have to see and many things I have to do, which I won't accomplish there.

I have several of those and yeah, most of them go back to my childhood. A few of them are real places I visited in my childhood. One is a hypnagogic image I saw once whilst trying to WILD, of an orange beach against a purple sky. Haven't been able to dream about any of them yet, as I'm not very advanced yet. I like the sound of your image, haostitan90.

I too have an ideal place in my mind, and have for some time. I often enjoy daydreaming about it when I have nothing else to do, and it amazes me how consistent it is, yet how many new details I discover each time I "visit" it in my mind.

As someone else pointed out, just because you haven't found your place in real life yet doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Perhaps you will be the one to bring it into existence someday.

That place sounds really peaceful and nice.
For the last two months randomly ive been thinking of a place i would like to visit. I see it like a white mansion right on top of this mountian.
Inside it is pretty massive with a large marble floor with a high set ceiling and long white curtians. Of course there is lots of furniture like large soft couch's around the place and ornaments as mansions have. It has a balcony with large white poles that stretch up high.
The view is probably the most amazing part, it looks out at an orange sun set with the ocean all around. There are a few mountains around and what look like small beaches below.
Be wicked to fly there some time to relax when im lucid and revisit it again.

      Mine is weird:

Bridge of the USS Enterprise-D. Watching the ship battle the Borg. With my DG, assuming I ever encounter him/her.

amazing place. ive seen some mansions myself in real life. i love em.

all of the places are awesome, i just feel like structurally my place is possible, but just not the lighting and the trees and the specific time of the year and everything.

but again, it's very possible that i could make it.

Me its not really a place and nothing that has to do with paradise but its something that really got stuck to me from a non lucid dream. It's in my signature also... There was a seal and I was hugging it for some reason and then my brother said something like "Dreams are stupid", I don't even remember, and then the seal jumped on him and started beating him up. it really shocked me even if it was kind of stupid so I pulled the seal away and asked "Why did you do that"? And the seal said "Because he was unrespectful to the Dream Pirate" then I asked who it was and the Seal showed me a Kid BOok. he opened it and on the first pages there was an underwater place with lots of whales. Then I woke up without knowing anything. I'm really curious and even if this is a dream I want to go whereever he is and talk to him... I guess I'll ask some whales or a seal for directions or maybe ride a dolphin... loL! It's my biggest goal for now
      OOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOO

Yeah i've been thinking about a paradise i'd like to go in my dreams. It's a large flat landscape of green brownish colors of grass. It's not that flat actualy but with little hiles and slopes here and there and many different tastes of green and brown. The sun is setting which sets the whole area in some orange glow. It's mostly an empty silence area with a small wooden house somewhere. And there's a strong wind but not the cold kind but a warm, kinda pleasent wind.
Sounds kinda sad probably but i'm really not the kind of a lonely person! It's just a picture that somehow looks peacefull to me. Just sit down on the grass which isn't too soft, but pleasent to sit on. It's actualy hovering between straw and grass. And than just enjoy the silence and peace. Yeah kinda weird probably but i like it. And yeah haven't had a lucid dream so for so I probably should start working on that first

It's funny to see that more people like the idea. When i'm having a lucid I hope I can go there and probably can report what it was like over there. And probably anyone else who likes to go there can do that and tell me what it was like for them!

In one of my lucids I was flying over this forest and there was a very European-like village ahead of me, and this huge mountain range behind it. I never intentionally tried to create a lucid paradise, but as I was flying over it I was totally overwhelmed with a "This is all MINE!" kind of feeling that made me feel very tranquil and awesome. I don't think that is even close to my concept of paradise out of an infinite number of possibilities, but I was still totally overwhelmed. So I think I can understand what you're aiming for. I'll have to think more about my lucid paradise...

Whoa, I have a similar place I'd like to see.

I saw it once on a computer, and since then I've loved it. It looks like a road covered in brown and red Autumn leaves. If you continue to walk foward, you'll see a small house. Great place.

Where an endless desert meets and endless ocean under and endlessly clear blue sky. Just me alone and sometimes a DC from another dream, chatting.

My heaven that I have in the back of my head has no picture. It's only music. Some time ago I created it in my mind listening to some 4AD like stuff. Some ( very few ) pieces give a kind of taste + I was quite susceptible back then.

Well I use the technique (not sure what its called (I forgot) ), Where you picture a place and focus on it as your drifting off to sleep. And then after a little bit. do a reality check and hopefully you'll be dreaming and there you go. your in your dream paradise or what ever you would like to call it.
Anyways. My dream paradise is a long long field that's very peaceful with birds chirping etc..

My paradise is a shallow stream in a forest on the outskirts of a village at dusk. The stream is filled with round smooth rocks so you can walk in the stream without really getting wet.

Water is warm. There is a gentle wind blowing that alternates between perfect warm and refreshing cool. You can hear the water babbling as it passes around the rocks. Although it is dusk, reflections off of objects seem as bright as normal day, making a pretty interesting visual.

Also, for others who might be interested in trying a V-Wild:
Remember when you V-Wild that you have more senses than just visual. What do you smell? What do you feel with touch? What do you hear? Can you taste anything? Describe it to yourself in your head, don't just "look" at it. This will reinforce the image and hopefully make it stay as you transition into dream state.

eg: I see a "rock" is not useful.
Instead you could try thinking like...
"I see a rock that looks like it might be rough to the touch (imagine what it would be like touching it without touching it). It's a grey and white mixture of colours kind of like marble. The shape of the rock is...." and so forth with all of your senses...
