Its a little fluffy / new agey. It has some things of value. Its also very thin - you could wade through the whole thing is a few hours.....
For example it talks to creating a "dream temple" where you sleep - based on the dream incubation concept. The idea is to pick something/somewhere you either normally dream about - or a place/thing that you want to dream about. Therefore you fill your room where you sleep with pictures/objects/anything that remind of this "place/thing/person/whatever" and then meditate on "it" while you go to sleep - sort of Dream Incubation with thrills.
Apart from that it talks about reality checks - looking at hands - spinning - flying. Basically all the usual suspects.
Best advice is to read a lot of books - some are great others less so - but there's normally some wheat amongst the chaff somewhere.
To me it came accross as one of those books where someone just compiled a bunch of everyone elses stuff and put it into a 30 day format.
For a newbie its probably a reasonable start at least with DILD/MILD and thinking about lucidity. But to be honest you will find all the same info and much more at sites like this.
my wife got it for me for x-mas but I haven't read it yet. I gotta try and get my urge to lucid dream back.
hahh my mom got me that book for christmas
haven't read it yet but i already dont like the "in 30 days" bullshit, because everyone is obviously different and progresses at different rates, you cant put a specific measured time to learning lucid dreaming....
Didn't read any book, got a LD 3 days after I read about LD on the internet without any practice
