But in all seriousness, I am a huge believer that when you feel pain in your dreams and wake up actually feeling the same pain, it's not because you dreamed about it. Conversly, you most likely dream about pain because your real body feels it during the night.
Let me give you some personal examples. These don't include pain, but can be applied the same way. I once dreamed that I saw a large 2-D animated head in the sky, right next to me. I bashed its teeth out with a broom handle, and as I did that, it would cry. This happened about two or three times before I woke up to my baby crying.
So...did my dream affect the real world, or did the real world affect my dream? I'm sure you know what I'm saying.
