      Question about visualization

When trying to visualize yourself in a scene, how many of you visualize yourself in third person? For example, if you are visualizing yourself dancing with a famous person, would you actually see yourself in the scene?

And somewhat related, do you see yourself in daydreams? I almost never experience my daydreams first person. It's more like watching a movie with me in it. I think it's the same for my visualizations. Should I be trying to experience my visualizations as I would in the waking life? Or is it okay to "passively" visualize the scene?

Visualizing in third person is a lot easier then first, for me at least. It's kind of like viewing through a fixed camera as compared to a constantly moving camera.

It reminds me of this WILD technique from Saltcube.com, you visualize yourself doing something, once the vision gets more vivid and realistic, you "jump" into the other you and begin doing what he/she was doing.
