well first of all i want to say hey to all you guys and girls reading. secondly i want to say i really could use some suggestions with my Lucid i just cant do it for some reson or when i do its like two seconds. any suggestion would be great.

How long have you been trying? and what have you tried?
Yeah, are you using dream signs, reality checks or just an awareness of the dream state? If you are lucid and about to wake up, try spinning like a top to return to dreaming.

Don't worry, after this friday, I'm going on vacation until Jan 5 and will be forced to use my slow sucky dial-up connection at home!

You guys ar pretty cool. thanks good to be here. so yeah i read an entire thing on LD'ing and i have tried it, but it doesn't seemed to work. in fact lately i haven't even been able to sleep hence the fact i sent the message so early in the morning.

Don't get too tense about it. In my recent dry spell, I would guess I was losing 2 good hours of sleep every night trying to lucid dream. Kind of defeats the purpose.
Caffine RULES! Have you ever laced your 24-oz cup of coffee with two no-doze tablets - You get a jolt equal to around 7 cups of coffee!
Did that on a drive across South Dakota one night. Didn't help, still had to pull over and let my wife drive while I napped!
If I don't want too fall asleep during something important (date at the movies, driving, ect...), I'll have a bawls and mix some ginseng in it.
Ginseng and caffine are the perfect pair, way better than peanut butter and jelly!
That sucks man, I know how it feels not to sleep. When I learned about LD'ing I tried it and it ended up messing up my sleep. I was only able to sleep 30 minutes tops. Eventually I just forgot about it, and one day out of the blue I was able to attain lucidity with no insomnia. I really don't know how I did it, but my advice is for you to just forget the subject for a while and hopefully become lucid spontaneously like it happened to me.
