My DG and astral guide is a white female wolf that can be either in wolf form or elf form (tall, eleven, wears different clothes for different dreams but most of the time white, ragged clothes) . the difference between DG and DCs are DGs know everything about you, they are you but sort of your other side (most often the opposite sex) they help you out in your dreams and they are always with you, but not always in physical form.
I'm still not sure where I stand on the whole Dream Guide thing. I believe it is a strong part of your subconscious but some people try to make it out to be some kind of real spirit. Either way, I still want to find mine. Haven't yet... I need to get back into lucid dreaming first :P
