      in my recent LD I was in a 3d game sandbox thingy and had samurai and ninja "bots" fighting each other. The tread didn't say the character had to be famous like lara croft or gordon freeman, those were characters, in a game (that doesn't exist), that were just random
      TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!

      I've had the giant eel from Mario 64, Big Daddies and Little Sisters from Bioshock, The Horde and Hunters from Left 4 Dead since I joined Dream Views. Prior to that I've had Clair Redfield, Mario, Lara Croft, Cloud, Sora, and Clank just to name a few. I have alot of video game related/themed dreams.

      I don't really have video game characters in my dreams, (though I don't play many video games, so that probably effects it. ) though I have had dreams where it was like the characters were based off a video game I knew, though when I woke up I realise that the video game is actually non-existant. I seem to have lots of interaction with comic and/or cartoon characters though, if that counts.

      I once had a dream that was an anime (an original anime, though some of the characters were not), but the labrynth was populated by the monsters and beings from Dragon Quest, if that counts. I've had video game dreams, but I think that was as close as I've been to dreaming of a character that was only from a game.

      One time, when I was lucid, I tried summoning all the playable characters from Final Fantasy VII. It worked!

      There I was, surrounded by Tifa, Barret, Cloud, Cid, the whole crew. I was just in awe. I think Cloud said something to me but this happened a while ago so I can't remember. I didn't really do anything with them, I was just absolutely dumbstruck that I was standing there with all of them.

      i had a dream i was in call of duty world at war then the barcelona football team ran past and then someone paper cut my throat and he started singing sweet home alabama. Thats some random shit

      What gamer hasn't had nightmares about ReDeads from OoT? Zombies that utter a bloodcurdling scream, freeze you on the spot, then eat your brains and/or rape you until you die or shake them off.

      That is some serious nightmare fuel, there. :insomnia:

      I used to all the time. It was a pretty good dream sign. I remember one where I was at the Olympics in Beijing and I saw Sothe and micaiah (Fire emblem characters) sitting across from me. I also used to have nightmares about ReDeads slowly walking into my room, and right as they were about to get me I'd wake up.

      Surprisingly, not really. I don't play tons of video games, but enough that I'd think--oh wait, once I was Mario. It was a 3rd person dream and I was fighting a boss but using the controls from Zelda games. Z-targeting and all that. I'm pretty sure I've seen Midna (from Twilight Princess) a couple of times too.

      i have a lot of game influenced dreams rather then actual game dream characters. like counter strike and halo back when i used to play them. and when i was playing wow i had a lot of world of warcraft influenced dreams. i always seem to be the main hero in them..

      I've never had any zombie dreams before, but, that's likely since I never played any zombie games.

      @OP I have never had a game character in a dream before. Pretty funny, since, I am a gamer at heart, but, currently taking a break at the moment I have seen an anime character, but, it was only once
