That's weird, but sounds like fun. As far as i know, i've always been myself in dreams (not that I always check).
I'm not an experienced LD'er myself, but i hear morphing bodies is commonplay. So I guess this sort of thing is normal as pie for lucid-pros?
Most of the time, I'm myself. I can remember a few dreams (not lucid) where I've been friends, and one where I was a superhero, but I can't really remember who. I generally prefer to just be myself, though when I get better and lucid dreaming, I'll probably experiment with shape-shifting. For me, being someone else would take all the fun out of it, because I wouldn't get to be there! :-P
i'm always me, though occasionally some powers are nice... but even that's rare, when i go lucid generally i don't even seem to have an actual control, i just try to do something and fail, then someone is all like, "Oh, it's like this, see?" and they do it for me... but no, i'm always me, and my sense of self, personality, and conscience are always fully intact.
i know someone who's always in a dream form as a fox... but that's not after anything he knows, i mean, come on, big blue-green fox...
I'm never, or rarely, myself in my dreams, I actually made a list of who I've been;
Do you forget, you forced me to inhabit this vile carcass -
