      Lightbulb The Spirit is back

      Hello.
i have returned after my long period of non lucidity.

i havent even been dreaming, but i'm ready to return.
I stopped dreaming about a year and abit ago, so i stopped doing reality checks and things of the like.
but a dream came to me out of the blue and i want to keep dreaming.

any tips for returning to the dream world more smoothly?

      Spirit.

You dream on a daily basis, so, you've been dreaming for the last year and a bit, but, you just don't remember it. If you wake up from a REM period, you'll have a better chance of remembering the dream along with writing in a DJ

Give autosuggestion a try if you haven't. Waking up from a REM period will remind you of your days or at least most people remember a dream when awoken in the REM period. I am not sure if there is anymore tips on recall, other than these 2 and writing in a DJ

Opening a "Welcome back" thread to yourself is just self delusional, do you really think you know every single person in this forum? If not then just keep it in you Inbox, nobody likes to read useless topics... (C'mone everyone were thinking it! )

i'm not self delusional, i was just reintroducing myself after a long dry spell.
if you were as sensible as your words are cocky, you wouldnt have wrote that.

I don't think this is nice and I'm sure everyone has done this kinda thing before. If you weren't gonna give the guy some helpful tips to improving his recall, then you shouldn't have posted in this thread.

      ....Not quite.

Welcome back Spirit! Hopefully you have many LD's in the future. I, too, am in the same boat as you. Many dry spells, and I am trying to muster the motivation to begin again.

I am relatively new to this whole thing, but the general rule for me has been:

Don't think you can do it. Know you can do it. It's all in your head, and you have the potential for total control.

      Welcome back, good luck!
On LD hiatus. Probably will start again around new years.

Or, you know -- randomly throughout this year and next.

      Welcome back!

THE_SPIRIT has decided to change accounts to a new member, Myke Gregory.

THE_SPIRIT account has been disabled accordingly.
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.
