I need help on what I'm feeling.

When I'm trying to lucid dream, I use the "go to bed, wake up then go back to sleep" method. I've been trying to lucid dream for a LONG time. I'm finally close I think. THis is what happened, so I was tired when I went back to sleep, and I started to relax again. And, I felt like this vibration-like, sucking me into something. Its really hard to explain, but it feels weird, but I think thats a sign that I'm going into the LD state. But, I always feel frightenend because the sensation is really unpleasant. I need help intrepreting this, if anyone has experience this, can you help me out??

The vibrations are just a side effect. The unpleasant feeling is most likely the beginnings of sleep paralysis. It may feel unpleasant, but it is still very fascinating. Sleep paralysis is very common when attempting to induce LD.

Anyway, in my experience SP is caused when your body and mind are not at the right wakefulness. I'm still trying to work out exactly the cause. It seems to happen when your mind is too awake, and your body is asleep. Try getting up and moving around a bit before going back to bed, or you can try the opposite.

Either way, you will cause LD or SP. If you cause SP try not to become scared. Just study it and enjoy it. It is a fascinating experience.

I've had vibrations like once or twice and the last one was actually amazing! I haven't felt anything like that before ever, it wasn't pleasure per say, but if I had to describe it it would be "soothing gas released from your skin into your body from every part of the skin"- lasted a few seconds and was almost orgasmic yet in a totally non-sexual way.
