Had two LDs with terrible recall

Ok, so yesterday morning after a very brief half arsed WBTB I had the first LD I've had since February. As soon as I woke I have the feeling as if I had perfect recall but in mere seconds it was truncated to nothing more than a few images. Heck, even how I became lucid is a mystery. Also, this morning after another WBTB I had a DILD and much like before I had terrible recall, absolutely terrible.

On a brief note when I woke from my latest LD I promptly grabbed my dream journal only to find that in was having a false awakening and quickly appeared back in my bed. Again I tried to grab my journal but was again in a false awakening. I should have turned it into a DILD, a proper DILD> :(

Until now LD recall for me has been extremely clear. Anyone have similar experiences? help?

Mr first few Ld's were hard to recall, and I didn''t know if I was acutally Lucid or not. COuld have been a dream about going lucid.

I don't know anything that owuld help, but I must ask. Did you write down n your dream journal when you had your Fa's?

Oh, Its better to sit with your eyes closed and try and piece together the dream instead of jumping up straight away to grab your journal.

yeah, sometimes i'll have one where my mind kind of wanders and i never really stabilize in the dream, then i wake up and forget most of it. the LDs i remember are a decent quality and were times i remembered to stabilize. so i guess review whatever stabilization technique you know of.
