Help please
Hey I was thinking either I really suck at visualizing or you guys are really good at it. Because when you guys visualize it sounds like it's getting painted in your eyelids and it's vivid and clear. But when I visualize it's hazy unclear, and during the day it's virtually impossible for me. And I wanted to VILD also. :?

Visualization is a skill--and like any other skill, it must be practiced if you want to get good at it.
When you're falling asleep, or bored, or whenever, try to hold an image in your head and see how long you can do it. Something simple (like an apple) works best at first. Try to make it as real-looking as possible. Another good one is a burning candle.
As you get better, work your way up to more complex objects. Then it really will seem like it is painted on your eyelids.

Thanks a lot that sounds reasonable.

And when you visualize things, don't focus only on appearance. Let's go with Eminence's apple example. When you start to see the apple, think about what color it is. Is it bright red or a light golden color? How big is it?
Next focus on the texture. Is it smooth? Waxy?
After that, smell it. "Picture" the scent of an apple within your nose. It should smell as real as if an apple were right below your face, if only fleetingly.
Now, taste it. Listen to the soft crunch as you bite into it; let the sweet taste fill your mouth.
It may be hazy at first, but if you keep at it then you'll get better! Practice makes perfect, after all.
